Announcing: Soul Song Paralytic

Hey folks,

I’ve been talking enough about this lately that it’s time for a proper announcement.

This fall I’m releasing the 5th Saint Solitude album, SOUL SONG PARALYTIC, which is part of a multimedia project of the same name. It’s a collaboration between myself and Oakland artist Dara Lorenzo.

We’re going to share it with the world on October 21st, 2017 at the East Bay Community Space in Oakland, CA.

The event will feature myself and a band performing the album in its entirety alongside the visual pieces Dara is creating. It is all ages and free.

Inspired by the loss of a close friend, the project’s aim is to explore how it feels to grieve and to encourage a greater empathy for those in mourning, which of course is all of us at one time or another. The country and culture I live in is one very afraid to talk about death and grief, and this is an attempt to break through that a little and create a shared medium to reflect on it.

You can find out more as it becomes available at our mini-site HERE.

Also, we’re partnering with several bereavement groups in the East Bay Back to reach and involve those communities that this project is really for. If you would like to be involved in any way, shape, or form, we’d love your help pulling this off! Please contact me at booking@saintsolitude.com.

We’ll have some audio/video to share with you soon.
