LP6 in the works

Ever since March I’ve been spending most of every free second working on the next SS album at both Tiny Telephone Recording and my own Stumble Abode studio, both in Oakland. All drums, bass, and rhythm guitars are tracked and I’m now working on a ton of new collaborative overdubs – trying out arrangements for instruments I’ve never written for before and meeting new players in the process. These songs have momentum and patience all the same, and feel, dare I say, modern. COVID colored this process in a number of ways but really underlined how much I value the contributions of others, despite my tendencies to track everything myself.
